Installation Guide — How to Run the App

Solana Sniper Bot is a standalone executable — no installer needed. Because this is a brand-new application that hasn't been downloaded across the internet many times yet, Windows has not built up trust data for it. As a result, Windows SmartScreen will very likely show a security warning the first time you run it. This is completely normal and expected for any new software. Here's exactly what you'll see and how to proceed.

Is this safe? Yes. The warning appears because the app is brand new and hasn't been downloaded enough times for Windows to recognize it as trusted. This happens with virtually all new, independently published software. It does NOT mean the file is malicious. The executable contains no malware, spyware, or adware. Only download from the official GitHub link above to ensure you have the authentic file.

1Download the file

Click "Download Windows App" above. Your browser will download SolanaSniperBot.exe (approximately 54 MB).

What you'll see in Microsoft Edge:
S
SolanaSniperBot.exe
⚠ SmartScreen warning — expected for new apps that haven't been widely downloaded yet
Delete Keep

✓ Click "Keep" to save the file. If Edge shows a second confirmation, click "Keep anyway" or "Show more" then "Keep anyway".

If your browser blocks the download entirely: press Ctrl+J to open downloads, click "Keep dangerous file" (Edge) or right-click the blocked item and select "Allow" (Chrome).

2Run the file — SmartScreen warning

Double-click SolanaSniperBot.exe. Windows SmartScreen will show a blue screen saying it protected your PC. Because this is a brand-new app that hasn't been downloaded many times, Windows doesn't have enough reputation data to automatically trust it. This is expected and normal.

What you'll see:
🛡

Windows protected your PC

Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk.

Don't run More info

✓ Click "More info" in the bottom-right corner.

3Click "Run anyway"

After clicking "More info," SmartScreen will show the app name and publisher, with a new button to proceed.

What you'll see next:
SolanaSniperBot.exe
Publisher: Unknown Publisher

This app might put your PC at risk.

Don't run Run anyway

✓ Click "Run anyway". The application will launch immediately.

"Unknown Publisher" appears because the app is brand new and hasn't been downloaded enough times for Windows to build a reputation. As more users download and run it, this warning will eventually stop appearing. It does NOT mean the file is malicious.

4If Windows Defender blocks it

In some cases, Windows Defender Antivirus may quarantine the file before you can run it. This is a false positive that happens because the app is brand new and hasn't built up reputation data. It's common with new software that Windows hasn't seen before. If this happens:

What you might see:
🛡 Threat found — SolanaSniperBot.exe
Windows Defender has detected a potential threat and has quarantined the file.
Threat name: Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.B!ml (false positive)
Remove Allow on device

✓ Click "Allow on device" to restore the file. Then run it again.

To do this from Windows Security: Start menu → "Windows Security" → "Virus & threat protection" → "Protection history" → click the blocked item → "Actions" → "Allow on device". You may need to click "Allow" twice if a second prompt appears.

5Start trading

Once the app launches, you'll see the Solana Sniper Bot control panel. The bot generates a fresh wallet for you on first launch — back up your wallet file if you fund it with real SOL.

You get 168 hours (one full week) of actual bot running time as a free trial. The timer only counts down while the bot is actively running, not while the app is open but paused.

✓ When your trial expires, click "Purchase License" inside the app or on this page to buy a $99.99 lifetime license. Your license key will be emailed to you instantly after payment.

Still having trouble? Because this is a brand-new app, some antivirus programs may flag it until it builds up download reputation. If Windows Defender keeps removing the file, add an exclusion: Windows Security → "Virus & threat protection" → "Manage settings" → "Add or remove exclusions" → "Add an exclusion" → "File" → select SolanaSniperBot.exe. Third-party antivirus (Bitdefender, Kaspersky, etc.) may need similar exclusions added in their settings. As the app gets more downloads over time, these warnings will stop appearing.

MCP Server — Control Your Bot with AI

The Solana Sniper Bot includes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server with 48 tools, allowing AI assistants like Claude, Cursor, and Devin to control every aspect of the bot. Install it separately via PyPI. The MCP server is useless without the Windows application — it requires the bot to be installed and running.

Using the MCP server tools, your agentic AI can analyze how market conditions change over time. With more than 45 tools exposed to your agent, it can continuously fine-tune bot settings and help zero in on a strategy aligned with your risk factors and preferred level of aggressiveness.
